2 Timothy 2:15 reads, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

Why Bible College?

The word "study" in 2 Timothy 2:15, is a command given by God and it means 'to endeavor, to work hard or do one's best' in presenting one's self 'sincere, genuine' before God. One who is willing to be a workman, unashamed of standing up for the Word of God and is able to correctly teach and expound the truth.
God needs men and women who are willing to learn to live
and accurately teach the Word of God.
This necessitates the importance of becoming a student of the Bible.
This is why a Bible College is important. It functions as a ministry of a local church to equip the believers to become useful vessels that the Lord can use by teaching them the Word of God so that they can teach others.
Therefore, if you are a believer, Bible College is for you!
It is for anyone who is just an ordinary member (man or woman) of a local church as well as for those who have received a specific call from the Lord to full-time ministry.


Who are we?

Heritage Baptist Bible College (HBBC) is an educative arm of Heritage Baptist Church.
It came into existence on June 3, 2014 in fulfilment to the burden God had laid on Pastor Hendricks' heart to train called men and women for the Lord's service 
 

What is our Mission?

This ministry was primarily set up to train the members of HBC to become equipped servants of the Lord as well as grow in their knowledge of Christ and His Word. Now, this is open to all, both men and women, who desire to study God's Word.
Since we are a Baptist College, we follow the statement of faith of HBC.


What can you expect?

The college offers both a 4-year program (offline) as well as a 1-year Bible Program (online) to both men and women. As a man, you will be taught how to be a godly leader and witness for Christ in your church and home. As a woman, you will learn how to be a godly wife, mother, teacher as well as be a better witness for Jesus Christ.
The Faculty & Staff at HBBC are experienced men and women who are active members of HBC and are currently involved in the various ministries of the church.
Some of the faculty are graduates of the college.
The subjects offered cover a myriad of topics ranging from Bible Doctrines, Book Studies, Biblical Languages, Prophecy, Teaching Kids, Christian Ethics, & Personal Evangelism just to name a few. 
The degrees offered are Bachelors in Theology (B.Th.),
Bachelors in Religious Education (B.RE) & Certificate in Theology (C.T.).
